Toby and Debbie Dulworth have been mentors to Nurtured Lands Farm and were the first people to offer to help us get started. Toby has been raising beef in Ballard County for his entire life. He is known for the small frame Herefords he has developed specifically to finish on grass. 

Joseph Mast is an Amish farmer in Crittenden County. When we wanted to raise forest pork, he was gracious enough to show us around his farm and answered all of our ‘how do you raise forest pork’ questions. Without him we would not have had the confidence to try it ourselves. Joseph’s hogs are forest raised and supplemented with a locally produced non-gmo feed.
